What We Do

Education

SSEF provides inclusive, safe, and high-quality educational programs for children and youth, with a special focus on those who are most vulnerable and at risk of dropping out. Our approach combines non-formal learning with extracurricular activities that nurture curiosity, creativity, social skills, and resilience. We also provide all-inclusive support such as school supplies, books, warm clothing, and activity materials to help children learn in a safe, happy, and supportive environment. SSEF is committed to delivering free, high-quality education, supporting children’s holistic development, and helping them transition into Syria’s public school system to obtain official and accredited certificates.

Protection

In challenging and stressful environments, many children and their families need psychosocial support delivered through safe, engaging, and nurturing spaces. SSEF is committed to providing these environments so children and youth can build resilience, express themselves, and develop social and emotional skills. At the same time, families receive guidance and support to strengthen their well-being. Our mission is to reach the most vulnerable children and equip them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to move forward.

Relief

Through education, psychosocial support, and community initiatives, SSEF helps children and families build resilience, access essential services, and better protect themselves against ongoing challenges. In times of crisis or emergency, we are preparing to provide timely, life-saving support to ensure safety and stability for at-risk populations. Our seasonal and community campaigns include winterization, Ramadan support, and meals distribution.
