Overview
SSEF’s educational approach combines non-formal learning with extracurricular
activities designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, social skills, and resilience. We aim to
create learning environments where children feel safe, supported, and motivated to
grow.
What Our Education Program Provides
All-inclusive support is provided, including school supplies, books, warm clothing, and materials for extracurricular activities. This ensures that children can learn in a safe and
supportive environment, while reducing barriers that hinder continued access to
education.
Who We Support
Currently, we are serving more than 250 children and youth across two age groups,
8–15 and 16–25, in Sabbourah, with a strong focus on vulnerable children, out of school
youth, or those at risk of dropping out.
Our Commitments
- Delivering free, high-quality education to all children, regardless of religion, background, or parental affiliation.
- Supporting children’s holistic development through psychosocial support, extracurricular programs, and essential resources.
- Facilitating smooth transitions into Syria’s public school system so children can obtain official and accredited certificates.
